Dr. Mariam Dum

Hi! My name is Mariam Dum, I’m a clinical psychologist, and a mother of three girls. I’ve founded digitalsake, with the mission of accompanying parents to raise happy children, and committed to their personal well-being in a digital world. I’ve been seeing in my private clinical practice the harmful effect of social networks on my patients for more than 15 years and I have been teaching simple and efficient techniques so that technology becomes an ally and not an enemy.

I’m passionate about the digital world and I believe in it, but I see on a daily basis in both my private practice and in my personal life, how this digital world affects my patient’s ability to love themselves, to establish healthy relationships in their lives, as well as to develop the discipline necessary to have fruitful jobs, and what is worse and I’m very sorry, is the negative consequences of video games and social networks are increasingly severe.

That is why I support schools, podcast interviews, and television channels to help parents, youth, educators, and mental health providers incorporate technology into our lives in a way that engages us and helps us evolve, and not to stagnate in it.

I want to share my passions with you and I hope that in digital sake you will find the support you need for your family:
